Tips When Choosing Lighting
1. Start as early as possible with the process, whether you build or buy houses.
2. Think about the rooms and what to use them. This helps you define your choices.
3. Set to the furniture in your drawing. (No down light in the head on the sofa guests thanks!)
4. You will need basic lighting (general lighting = replacement for natural light) so you can see into the room. Often this is signed by an electrician, to tender. But remember that it is then chosen minimal solutions to keep a budget.
5. Once you have defined a need, such as general lighting and work lights, plot this on your drawing.
6. Make sure you have lamps that can be adjusted (dimmed). You will be able to get more features in the same light. By adjusting the amount of light goes from work to the general illumination lighting. Copy ceiling lights, down lights and reading lamps, etc.
7. Avoid glare. All lights where you see the light bulb, will have the potential to dazzle you.
8. White domes, either hanging or ceiling, must have a dimmer function.
9. You can also choose lamps with dense displays, which shed the light up or down.
10. Use multiple types of lamps, halogen gives a cold light, incandescent bulbs a softer light.
11. It is the transition between light and shadow that give the most exciting effects.
